About The Pride
The Pride Soccer
Club is in its fifth season as a youth soccer club in central Ohio. It was
established in 2004 responding to the need for a more competitive youth
soccer program in Canal Winchester and the surrounding area. It is our
goal to continue to establish ourselves as a quality, successful
organization in the soccer community of central Ohio.
The Pride Soccer
Club is a proud member of the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association (OSYSA),
which is affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and
the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA). Our teams compete in
the Mid Ohio Select Soccer League (MOSSL). We are a non-profit
organization, which is supported by player fees, donations, and
fundraising.
Mission and
Philosophy
Our mission is to
provide a quality training environment using professional, experienced
coaches and trainers so that players will improve their technical and
tactical abilities in order to reach their fullest potential in the game
of soccer. It is also our goal to foster an enjoyment and love for the
game of soccer so that players will continue to play through high school
and beyond. We do this by using training methods that will benefit the
abilities of the individual player and team, while also making training
sessions fun.
The primary focus of
the Pride Soccer Club is player development. Our philosophy revolves
around developing players to the fullest extent possible. Our organization
also places a high value on respect, responsibility, discipline and
developing players that embody these values in the game of soccer and
life. It is our hope that players will get more out of their experience
with the Pride Soccer Club than just soccer skills.
The Pride S.C. coaching staff is under the
direction of Jeff Krigbaum. The coaching staff is comprised of a variety
of coaches who are experienced, qualified, and licensed. U11-U19 teams are
coached full time by a professional staff coach, while U9-U10 teams have
qualified volunteer parent coaches who receive assistance from staff
coaches during training and games
