The PSC Culture and Core Values
PSC strives to operate with integrity and excellence.  We believe in a holistic, player-centered approach.  During the tryout and team placement period, the PSC staff will give you a realistic assessment regarding team placement and an honest prediction of where a particular team will be placed for league play. PSC will not make promises or give false information to get you to commit to a team.   Over the last 21 years, we have established a loyal and committed coaching and leadership staff who believe in our culture, core values and player development philosophy.

Player Development and Proven Results
PSC has consistently developed players and teams to reach higher playing levels each season.  PSC has had several State Cup Finalists, Semi-Finalists, State League participants, NPL Playoff participants, in addition to numerous teams who have been successful in regional tournaments and events!  These teams were all comprised of a core group of players who had developed within the PSC system for many years!  

Development Opportunities For All Age Groups and Levels
PSC is committed to providing as much attention to U5 players as we do to U19 players.  We will be intentional about assigning coaches to age groups they can teach, understand, and communicate to in an age-appropriate manner.  PSC organizes multiple Juniors (U5-U8) programs per year to provide a unique developmental experience to these players that gives more focused training than a traditional “recreation” league.  We will also place U13-U19 players in the best environments to prepare those players for success in high school and college soccer.  In addition, we strive to give the same opportunities for development to teams that play at lower league levels as we do for teams that play in more competitive leagues.  We are very proud to have had A LOT of players spend their entire club soccer career with PSC!!

League and Competition Placement
PSC will choose leagues and competitions that serve to develop and challenge teams in the most appropriate and realistic manner.  We will not choose leagues and competitions based on opportunities to get more trophies or notoriety.  At the older (U13-U19) age groups we will strive to play at the highest USYSA and US Club league levels – COPL, OSPL, BPYSL, OSSL, NPL and GLC.  If teams are ready to take the next step and have earned the right to play at the highest levels, we will place teams into those leagues.

College Connection
PSC has produced hundreds of Collegiate level players!  We have connections with college programs in addition to having several current or former college coaches on our staff.   PSC will also host college recruiting lectures and ID events/camps throughout the year to further educate PSC families and provide additional recruiting connections.  We understand the recruiting process and how to assist players in being recruited to the appropriate school if that is their desire.  We also understand that college soccer is not for everyone, even for the most talented players, and we will advise players to think first about their education and future and secondly about whether soccer fits within that plan.
